June 27, 2008 -- The Equine Network's publications and website, EquiSearch.com, won 17 awards at the American Horse Publications (AHP) Awards Banquet in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on June 21, for material published in 2007.

Participation in this year's contest represented 105 AHP members and 1,092 entries. Held since 1974, the AHP Annual Awards Contest provides members with an opportunity to be recognized for excellence in equine publishing.

"We were pleased with the performance of the Equine Network in the AHP Awards this year, particularly EquiSearch.com's first-place awards in the Equine-Related Electronic Publication and e-newsletter categories. Since much of EquiSearch.com's content is from our magazines--EQUUS, Practical Horseman, Dressage Today and Horse & Rider--it was a win for the whole group!" said Susan Harding, vice president and group publishing director for Source Interlink Media's Equine Network. "It was also good to see such a wide variety of publications get honored--it is a testament to the depth and breadth of quality publishing in the equine industry today."

Other first-place awards for the Equine Network went to Dressage Today magazine for Service to the Reader Series and Publication Staff Advertisement (circulation 10,000 and over), EQUUS magazine for Service to the Reader (circulation over 20,000) and Horse & Rider magazine for Instructional Series.
