Imagine professional horsemen, experienced volunteers, and knowledgeable retailers coming together to celebrate the American Quarter Horse and educate horse lovers from every walk of life about the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). That's the AQHA Regional Experience, 10 annual events across North America coming again to a city near you in 2007. The 2006 AQHA Regional Experience events took place from May through August across the AQHA's 10 North American regions. Each event featured a multi-day horse show complete with AQHA-approved classes and the opportunity for exhibitors to compete in a stress-free atmosphere. Examples abound of riders honing their knowledge and skills in the performance-oriented clinics offered, then putting that fresh education to use with great success in the show ring at the same Regional Experience. The November 2006 issues of Horse & Rider and EQUUS magazines featured an 8-page insert about the Regional Experiences. Explore online extras below!
