October 15, 2010 — Moorlands Totilas, the best dressage horse of all times, has been sold to German former showjumper turned top European breeder Paul Schockemohle.

Edward Gal and Totilas just recently won three gold medals at the 2010 WEG in Lexington, KY. At the time, Gal denied rumors of an impending sale. However, Cees Visser of Moorlands Stable confirmed today the horse was being sold.

Totilas, a 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood, will join Schockemohle’s barn full of some of the most elite breeding stallions in the world.
