I'm sure that there are shampoos you can buy for dark manes and tails, like QuickSilver, but the opposite... I'd check your tack shop for some, not exactly sunscreen, but should help with the ...

MANY years ago I used an "illegal" bit unknowingly (don't even remember what bit it was!) and the judge told me she'll let it go that day (VERY small schooling show just for fun) but not to use it ...
