November 16, 2011–The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has named the four athlete/horse combinations to represent the U.S. at CSIO-W Buenos Aires in Argentina. This CSIO will take place over Thanksgiving weekend (November 23-27).
The following Team will represent the United States in Argentina
Cara Raether (Bedford, NY) will ride Trelawny Farm’s Lyonell
Lyonell is a 10-year-old Sachsen-Anhaltiner gelding
Cara Anthony (Redmond, WA) will ride Potcreek Partners, LLC’s Woodpecker de Villars
Woodpecker de Villars is a 9-year-old Swiss Warmblood gelding
Charlie Jacobs (Buffalo, NY) will ride Deeridge Farms’ Leap of Joy
Leap of Joy is a 10-year-old Holsteiner gelding
Ali Wolff (New Albany, OH) will ride Blacklick Bend Farm’s Lanoo
Lanoo is an 18-year-old Royal Dutch Warmblood
John Madden will serve as the Chef d’Equipe for this Nations Cup.
The CSIO Buenos Aires has historically provided valuable Nations Cup experience for many riders as they climb through the ranks of the sport.
The Nations Cup will take place on Friday, November 25.
