Heart To Horse Box Review

Have you heard the buzz about the Heart to Horse Box? Horse.com has launched a program featuring a monthly mystery box filled with hand-picked items to captivate both horse and rider alike. Order a single box or set up a subscription for automatic shipment around the 15th of each month.

It’s perfect for those who want to stay in the know about new brands. “This could be a great way to try products that are new to you or making their debut on the market,” attests Horse&Rider Magazine.

Practical Horseman editor Sandy Oliynyk agrees, adding, “The gift box is a great idea for those horse-loving friends and family you’d like to send a unique and useful surprise month after month.”

Let’s take, for example, the December 2014 Heart to Horse box. Created to address a horse owner’s winter necessities, it was brimming with goodies like a full-size Camelot® adjustable chin double stitched leather halter with snap; an equestrian pashmina scarf; a Mountain Horse® headband; an 8-ounce bag of Mrs. Pastures® Cookies for Horses; a trial-size bottle of Absorbine Botanicals Natural Herbal Liniment Body Rinse; and even a sample of Whimzees natural dog treats. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into this!

The items, which were nicely presented in a roomy box, included a 15% discount certificate for the recipient’s next Horse.com order. To our surprise and delight, the giving didn’t stop there. Twenty-five percent of the net proceeds from every Heart to Horse Box is donated to local equine rescues and shelters in need!

“We are very excited about our Heart to Horse Box program,” says TABcom, LLC CEO Glen Demeraski. “It’s a great way for us to share useful, new and exciting products with our customers each month, while giving back to the rescue community we care so deeply about.”

It’s a win-win for everyone. As Dressage Today editor Jennifer Mellace notes, “The Heart to Horse Box, recently launched by Horse.com, is a fun way to treat yourself and your horse. More importantly, 25 percent of the net proceeds from the box sales are donated to equine rescue sites.

“So not only do you get an opportunity to try new products from manufacturers like SSG and Mountain Horse, but you also help horses and shelters in need,” she continues. “It’s really a great idea.”
