Aqueduct Racing

In the news today, we read that at Aqueduct Racetrack, 8 Thoroughbred racehorses have died in the last 27 days of racing. ?See story.

Last year at Aqueduct, 21 horses died in 74 days of racing.

We find that completely unacceptable, especially when authorities are stating the winterized track is safe. Instead, they plan to cut back the number of racing days per week. ?What about trainers and conditioning methods’
