Safety Thought: Prevent Twisted Ankles

Clogs are touted as a barn shoe, but they aren?t a good choice because they couple a high-platform sole with no ankle support. This is a recipe for a twisted ankle or fall when moving around over the uneven ground found in the barn and around the farm.? We understand their appeal as a barn shoe since they are easy to slip on, comfortable, and have a thick sole for all the stuff you can step into, but a mucker with a flatter, rubberized sole or a paddock boot are better choices.
