Wrapping a horse’s legs is imperative in certain situations. From applying polo wraps for exercise to standing wraps in the stall, there are many reasons for protecting one of the most important parts of the horse.
This video by the Certified Horsemanship Association will demonstrate how to safely and correctly apply polo wraps and standing wraps on horses. With practice you’ll learn when and how to use each kind so that your horse’s legs are protected properly.
Note: Never apply polo or standing leg wraps unless you know how to do it properly. Wrapped too tightly, a horse’s leg can suffer a bowed tendon or other injury.
