The Kentucky Horse Park regularly hosts some of the nation’s largest and most prestigious equestrian competitions, such as the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event, the USEF National Pony Finals, the USEF Open Reining Championships, the Pyramid Society Egyptian Event, and the United States Pony Club National Festival.
One of the most beautiful equine competition venues in the country, the park also hosts many non-equine events. In addition to high caliber facilities, the park is home to a resort-style campground, tourist attractions and the International Museum of the Horse.

A Gift From The Desert
The International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park has announced that the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation has agreed to become the presenting sponsor of a major international exhibition entitled, A Gift from the Desert: The Art, History and Culture of the Arabian Horse. The exhibition will be produced by and held in the museum during the summer and fall of 2010 in conjunction with the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (May 29-October 15). The 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games
The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park from September 25 to October 10, 2010–the first time that the event will be held outside of Europe. The largest equine sporting event ever held in the United States, the Games are comprised of the world championships for eight equestrian sports–show jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting, reining and para-equestrian. The FEI World Equestrian Games are held every four years, two years prior to the Olympic Games, and are governed by the Fedration Equestre Internationale (FEI), the international governing body of equestrian sport recognized by the International
Olympic Committee.
