The event features three daily trail rides and a Dutch oven dinner, along with evening entertainment, wagon rides, and a silent auction. Appaloosas enrolled in the Appaloosa Horse Club Distance Program may count mileage from this ride.

The camp area features individual pipe corrals for 60 horses, covered dining, plus ample shaded primitive camping sites for participants. Hot showers are available. Trails, through rolling meadows and in forested areas with gentle elevation changes, are suitable for horses of most ability levels.

For more information, contact the Appaloosa Museum at (208) 882-5578, ext. 279; museum@appaloosa.com, before August 10.
