Anky Out of World Games

The British magazine Horse & Hound is reporting that Olympic dressage gold medalist Anky van Grunsvenwill not contest the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky this September.

Anky’s horse, Salinero, is recovering from an injury to his withers, and her reserve horse, Painted Black, has had mixed results. Some speculated that Anky was headed for a slot on the reining team, but recent Facebook updates say she’s skip WEG altogether. The Dutch are still team gold favorites, particularly with the record breaking Edward Galon Moorlands Totillasup for selection.
