Dressage Celebrity Mounted Games to Benefit the United States High Performance Dressage Program to be held at the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions presented by The Dutta Corp.

October 1, 2013–On Saturday night, October 12, 2013, there will be an added degree of excitement at the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions presented by The Dutta Corp. Prior to the start of the Grand Prix Freestyles, the Dressage Celebrity Mounted Games will be held in the Rolex Stadium of the Kentucky Horse Park, featuring competitors participating in pony relay races as a fundraiser for the U.S. High Performance Dressage programs.

Four teams composed of riders from the six divisions of competition at the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions presented by The Dutta Corp will be led by team coaches Steffen Peters, Guenter Seidel, George Williams and co-coaches Debbie McDonald and Robert Dover. Teams will ride ponies supplied by the United States Mounted Games Association (USMGA), and in addition to the dressage competitors, each team will be joined by a USMGA rider.

The Dressage Celebrity Mounted Games will be a fun and exciting way to support U.S. athletes as they prepare and compete around the globe in international competition. With the 2014 World Equestrian Games fast approaching, now is the time to show your support.

For every $1,000 raised per “team” an additional 10 points will be awarded to its overall score the evening of the Games.
