“The animals benefit because they’re photographed in a protected, low-stress environment,” said Karen Rosa, vice president of the American Humane Association’s Film & Television Unit. The AHA is the only animal welfare organization in the world with on-set jurisdiction from the Screen Actors Guild to supervise the use of animals. The organization is also the only authority to issue the renowned “No Animals Were Harmed”® end-credit disclaimer.
