Land Rover Grant Recipients Kieffer and Veronica Ready to Tackle Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials

Lauren Kieffer and Veronica passed the first horse inspection at Bramham International Horse Trials in England with flying colors.

The first horse inspection took place for the Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials on Wednesday and Land Rover Eventing Competition Grants Recipients Lauren Kieffer and Veronica passed with flying colors as they are set to compete in the CCI3* division. The 2014 Rolex/USEF National Champions are amongst the field of 72 combinations aiming to have stellar performances. Kieffer (Ocala, Fla.) and Team Rebecca, LLC’s 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare won Advanced divisions at Red Hills International and The Fork Horse Trials earlier this year and are ready to capitalize on their top form at Bramham. Kieffer and Veronica will perform their dressage test at 3:40 p.m. local time on Thursday.

Two other U.S. athletes are also competing at the Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials. Katherine Coleman and Courage under Fire are in the CCI3* division, doing their dressage test at 3:06 p.m. local time on Thursday. Experiencing her first summer competing abroad, Caroline Martin will ride Quantum Solace in the Under 25 CCI3* division.
