Leading Animal Health Manufacturer, Bimeda and International Three-Day Eventer, Liz Halliday-Sharp Team Up to Promote Polyglycan®️

Boulder, Colo. – June 8, 2022 – Bimeda, a leading global player in the animal health industry, has teamed up with top international three-day eventer Liz Halliday-Sharp in a new campaign to promote Polyglycan®️, their exceptional joint support product.

For 60 years, Bimeda has been driven by a passion for providing science-driven solutions to optimize the health and wellbeing of animals. Their unwavering commitment to animal health has seen them grow over the course of six decades from a small Irish enterprise to a leading global innovator, manufacturer and marketer of veterinary pharmaceuticals and animal health products.

Liz Halliday-Sharp is an international three-day eventer who has competed successfully at CCI5* level. For the past twenty years, Liz split her time between the UK and USA which helped her to create a successful business producing and selling horses, as well as providing an opportunity to compete and train in both Europe and America. Over the last few years, Liz has enjoyed wins and top results up to the CCI5* level across both continents. Those results have helped her to become an established member of the U.S. Equestrian Eventing High Performance Training List for many years.  She has also appeared on multiple Nation’s Cup Teams and was the reserve for Team USA at both the 2018 World Equestrian Games and 2019 Pan American Games.

Halliday-Sharp and her veterinarian, Laura Werner, DVM, MS, DACVS, chose to use Polyglycan on Halliday-Sharp’s horses for the first time in 2020. Having a great relationship between the rider and veterinarian is important to top level equine athletes, which is why Halliday-Sharp and Werner worked together to create a proactive approach to the horses’ care leading up to big competitions. Polyglycan was part of that approach, providing exceptional joint support while the horses were training and competing throughout the season.

“The results speak for themselves,” says Halliday-Sharp. “I was the United States Eventing Association (USEA) rider of the year in 2020 with the most FEI wins in the world. I can thank only Polyglycan for that help because my horses have never felt better.”

Polyglycan is a patented formulation designed to replace lost or damaged synovial fluid. It contains naturally-occurring components of the synovia that play a central role in maintaining the homeostatic environment of the joint. The patented 3-component formula has demonstrated characteristics beyond any of these components used individually, making it an excellent option for owners and riders who want to be proactive about their horse’s joint care.
