The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. Shows Support for Horse Week Event Brought to You by Boehringer Ingelheim

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. (USPC) is an educational organization which builds the foundations of teamwork and sportsmanship through riding, mounted sports, care of horses and ponies, while developing and enhancing leadership, confidence, responsibility, and a sense of community in its youth and adult members. USPC started in 1954 to teach riding and the proper care of horses. It is based on The British Pony Club, which was created in 1929 as a junior branch of the Institute of the Horse. Since then, USPC has expanded to many countries around the world, with the main goal being to promote sportsmanship, stewardship and leadership through horsemanship.

USPC will have a feature documentary that showcases two riders and their success stories within the organization featured on Wednesday, October 6th at 8:00 p.m. EDT. Viewers can watch the program for free by visiting horseweek.tv.

Members of USPC will also be recognized as Rising Star Award Recipients presented by W.F. Young. These award recipients showcased hard work, talent, and dedication for their passion for horses. The winners are Michaela and Genevieve Munson, Sarah Ramseur, and Tyler Wiemers.

Just as USPC serves to positively impact and unite the equine community, Horse Week is connecting people and businesses within the equine industry. This fall, the inaugural Horse Week– an equine-centric digital festival unlike any other– will debut on horseweek.tv. With help from title sponsor Boehringer Ingelheim, riders and horse lovers of every level and discipline will enjoy high-quality educational and inspiring content.

This week-long viewing experience will include profiles of incredible equine athletes, equine storytelling that celebrates the horse-human bond, and heartwarming tales of horse heroics. Riders will get valuable takeaways and advice from world-class trainers.

“We have pulled Horse Week together to celebrate the horse across the entire industry in this new, exciting and innovative way,” said Melissa Kitchen, Vice President of Marketing Services at the Equine Network. “Having the support of well-known associations like the USPC helps us to further unify and connect the horse community through Horse Week.”

Horse Week can be streamed for free from October 3-9 on horseweek.tv. Tune in from the barn, office, or the comfort of your couch. The Equine Network is making it easy to watch from any smart device.
