October 4, 2008 — The Arabian Horse Association (AHA) Sport Horse National Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show (Sport Horse Nationals) made its sixth annual appearance September 23-27 at the Idaho Horse Park in Nampa, Idaho. Sport Horse Nationals featured two special events, including a Saturday evening special performance and Thursday night’s Progressive Barn Party. Saturday evening highlighted some of the best that the sport horse competition has to offer with a jumper mini-prix, freestyle musical dressage, pleasure carriage driving and the crowning of the Sport Horse Supreme Champion.

The horse honored as 2008 Sport Horse Supreme Champion was Soleya++++\\ (Soldat x Kelly’s Best), owned by Lorna and M. Jeannie Harron of Ardrossan, Alberta, Canada, and shown by Todd Ehret. Masterpiece PA++++\\ (Armani FC x Padrons Vali Girl), owned and shown by Alexandra Ramage of Xenia, Ohio, took home the reserve championship honors.
