Adequan/USDF National Symposium to Feature Jan Brink

Swedish dressage champion Jan Brink will present at the 2009 Adequan/USDF National Symposium in Austin, Texas.

September 4, 2009 — The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) will welcome featured presenter Jan Brink to the 2009 Adequan/USDF National Symposium. The symposium will take place December 5-6, 2009, in Austin, Texas. In addition to the two days of the riding symposium, there will also be a symposium lecture by Brink on Saturday night at the Renaissance Austin Hotel, host hotel for the Adequan/USDF Annual Convention being held from December 2-4.

In addition to his many Swedish National Championships, Brink was the 2005 winner of the dressage championships in Aachen, was awarded the individual and team bronze at the 2005 European Championships, and was awarded the individual silver at the 2003 European Championships.

“Jan was so well received when he hosted the 2007 and 2008 Succeed/USDF FEI-Level Trainers’ Conference, that we were thrilled when he agreed to come back and present at this year’s symposium where everyone can experience his unique insight and teaching style,” said Katherine Robertson, USDF Senior Coordinator of Education Programs.

Founded in 1973, the USDF is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to education, recognition of achievement and promotion of dressage. For more information on the 2009 Adequan/USDF National Convention and Symposium featuring Jan Brink visit www.usdf.org.
