October 5, 2007 — Want to be among the first to reserve tickets for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010? You can be part of the first group in the world to have an opportunity to purchase tickets if you are a U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF) member on October 15 and have a valid email address on file with the USEF. All categories of USEF membership will be included in this ticket deposit offer as long as you are a current 2007 USEF member or a new 2008 member who joins online on or before October 15.
The special offer will be for “discipline series tickets,” which are tickets for every performance in a specific discipline during the Games. The offer will allow you to make a non-refundable deposit to reserve the series ticket with the balance due in 2009. There will be a limit of six series tickets per discipline per member in this program. Single day tickets are not part of this offer.
A deposit on a series ticket during this offer will reserve a seat until tickets are available in 2009. At that time you can choose what category and price of seat you want. The non-refundable deposit in this special offer is the same amount regardless of what category of seats you ultimately choose to purchase and is based on approximately 50% of what it is anticipated for which the premium level seats will sell. Regardless of what the price is for the seats you decide to purchase in 2009, the deposit will be applied against the total cost of the seats.
If you are currently a USEF member you should make sure you have a correct and valid email address on file, you can change it online on the USEF website when you “Sign In” on the lower right corner of the homepage www.usef.org using your member Authorized User Account. Or you can update it when you renew your 2008 membership or join as a new member online no later than October 15. To become a USEF member, or to renew your membership online, go to www.usef.org and click on the “Join or Renew” tab in the upper right hand corner of the homepage. The USEF cannot guarantee that any type of membership, renewing or new, sent by regular mail prior to October 15 will be included in this email offer.
The ticket deposit offer will only be made by email to USEF members on November 1 and will only be available online. No orders can be taken by phone or mail. The email will include a link to a special area on www.feigames2010.org and details on how to order the tickets. There are a very limited number of tickets in each discipline available, and the ticket offer will end when the USEF allotment sells out or on November 15, whichever comes first. This is an exclusive first come, first served opportunity for USEF members. The online ticket deposit orders will be made on www.feigames2010.org and the transaction will be handled by Ticketmaster, the official ticket agency for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010. Only credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) transactions will be accepted.
“We are pleased to be able to make this first ticket offer to our members, and we expect the USEF ticket allotment will sell out quickly,” said John Long, chief executive officer of the USEF and a member of the board of directors of the World Games 2010 Foundation.
