Horses of Hope – The Dream is a feature that shows how therapeutic riding can impact the lives of those who participate. Through therapeutic riding people with disabilities improve balance, posture, mobility, and function. It allows people with neurological issues, post traumatic brain injuries, cerebral palsy, and many other serious conditions forget their challenges, feel more capable, stronger, confident, and provides hope. The Horses of Hope Therapeutic Riding Center is the dream of Shelly McColm and Vallerie Sweeton, their facilities in Baxter Springs, Kansas and Springfield, Missouri are a result of a passion and a dream to help people through relationships with horses.
