American Competitive Trail Horse Association
The American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA) organizes and sanctions casual trail trials on a national level. A portion of the profits are donated to horse rescues and charities.

American Trail Trials-Horsemen’s Association
The American Trail Trials-Horsemen’s Association (ATTA) promotes the sports of horseback trail riding and trail trial riding. It also provides education, recognition and awards programs for riders and horses.

British Columbia Competitive Trail Riders Association
The British Columbia Competitive Trail Riders Associations ( BCCTRA) promotes and enhances the sport of competitive trail riding within British Columbia by providing education, training and competition for all levels of equestrians.

Canadian Long Distance Riding Association
The Canadian Long Distance Riding Association (CaLDRA) is an affiliated member of Equine Canada, and is the governing and coordinating body for the distance riding sports of Competitive Trail and Ride & Tie in Canada.

Eastern Competitive Trail Ride Association
The Eastern Competitive Trail Ride Association (ECTRA) organizes, sanctions and provides judging guidelines for competitive trail riding events.

Equestrian Trails, Inc.
Equestrian Trails, Inc. (ETI) holds events such as trail rides, trail trials, gymkhanas and horse shows.

National Competitive Trail Horse Association
The National Competitive Trail Horse Association (NCTHA)was formed to be the sanctioning and record keeping organization for STC and TTC rides. Since members often rode in endurance and other competitive trail venues, the NCTHA expanded to keep track of the placing and mileage records for those members competing in other venues.

North American Trail Ride Conference
The North American Trail Ride Conference (NATRC) has six regions across the country. Each region puts on competitive trail rides in their area and maintains a schedule of their rides.

Ohio Arabian & All-Breed Trail Riding Society
The Ohio Arabian & All-Breed Trail riding Society (OAATS) is an Arabian Horse Association affiliate, but provides all breeds with information on the sports of endurance riding, competitive trail riding and pleasure riding. In addition OAATS offers information on what to expect in the sport.

Ontario Competitive Trail Riding Association
The Ontario Competitive Trail Riding Association (OCTRA) is the sanctioning body for the equestrian sport of endurance riding (endurance racing), competitive trail riding, and ride ‘n’ tie in Ontario, Canada.

Trail Riding Alberta Conference
The Trail Riding Alberta Conference (TRAC) sanctions and organizes competitive rides in Alberta, Canada. TRAC also records member’s results.

Upper Midwest Endurance & Competitive Rides Association
The Upper Midwest Endurance & Competitive Rides Association (UMECRA) formed with the goal of promoting the sports of endurance and competitive riding,and good horsemanship under the direction of qualified veterinarians. UMECRA was founded by a group of ride managers to standardize a set of rules for the various rides to reduce variation in the way rides were managed, to coordinate ride dates, to tally points, and to present year-end awards at an annual banquet.

Washington State Horseman Competitive Trail Division
The Washington State Horseman Competitive Trail Division organizes competitive trail rides with year end awards in all division.
